Combhills Junction Slaley, Temporary Road Closure

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) U8080 ESPERSHIELDS FARM JUNCTION TO COMBHILLS JUNCTION SLALEY (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council Intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8080 Espershields Farm Junction To Combhills Junction from its junction with C268 West Minsteracres To High Acton Mill Ruins heading northwest for a distance of 1400 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 2nd June 2022 until the 6th June 2022.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 2nd June 2022 until the 5th June 2022 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C268 and C265.

The closure has been requested by LIV Golf Limited to facilitate the safe operation of public parking for a professional golf tournament.
