SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Coach Road (Part), Heywood; for a distance of approximately 50 metres either side of the Railway Bridge to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out structural repairs and associated works. Alternative route: via Coach Road (unaffected length) -Bitham Park - A350 - Coach Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 06 June 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 until 08 June 2022. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: B) Union Street (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Timbrell Street to its roundabout junction with The Halve to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via The Halve - A361 - B3105 - Canal Road - B3106 - Islington - Timbrell Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 May 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 for 4 days. C) A3098 (Part), Westbury; from its roundabout junction with Sandalwood Road to its roundabout junction with Camargue Road to enable Wessex Water to carry out manhole cover replacement and associated works. Alternative route via A3098 (unaffected length) - Mane Way - Oldfield Road - B3097 -A350 - A3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 May 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for 2 days. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following length of road: A350 (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Semington Road to its junction with Semington Bypass to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out A350 Toucan crossing and associated works. The speed restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This speed limit restriction will come into operation on 06 June 2022 and will be required until 01 July 2022. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. This Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, GREAT SOMERFORD) (30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2022
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Great Somerford) (Restricted Roads) Order 1995 and re-enact it in the above Order for administrative purposes only and to introduce a 30mph speed limit on C66 Dauntsey Road, Great Somerford - from a point 138 metres south west of its junction with C77 West Street for a distance of 69 metres in a south westerly direction.
