EXPERIMENTAL SCHOOL SAFETY ZONES TRAFFIC ORDERS
Notice is hereby given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL made the following modification to experimental Order and a new experimental Order under the relevant sections of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to be operative from the 23 May 2022 for a period of 18 months, the effect of which will be: (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2021 Experimental Order (No. 1) 2022 Modification. Ref: (ST&I/TRO/Davenwood EO1) Variation of the No Waiting, Monday-Thursday 8am-9am and 2:30pm-3:30pm, and Friday 8am-9am and 12.24pm-1.45pm on Davenwood (south side) and at the turning head on Gays Place (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2021 Experimental Order (No. 3) 2022. Ref: (ST&I/TRO/Derwent Drive EO3) To introduce 'No waiting at any time' on Derwent Drive, Witham Way and 'No Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-6pm' on Derwent Drive. Any person wishing to make representations whether to object to or support the Orders before made permanent must do so by completing the consultation form which can be found at

under 'experimental traffic regulation orders' using the appropriate reference by no later than 23 November 2022. Any objection or representation received will form part of a public record which may be made publicly available. If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, you may, within 6 weeks from 11 May 2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
