Notice of Making a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980

Dorset Council (Part of Footpath 17, Netherbury at Oxbridge) Public Path Diversion Order 2022
The above order, made on 29 April 2022 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert part of Footpath 17, Netherbury as shown on the order map as follows:
From the existing path: The whole width of the path from the unaffected part of Footpath 17, south east of its junction with the D10517 Road (Oxbridge Lane) at SY 47439771, generally south east past the river and then generally south east and south to rejoin the unaffected part of Footpath 17 at SY 47569752. (No recorded width).
To the new path: From the unaffected part of Footpath 17, south east of its junction with the D10517 Road (Oxbridge Lane) at SY 47439771, generally south south west to SY 47429769 and then generally south south east and south east to SY 47459763, continuing generally south east to SY 47469763 and SY 47509759 and then south east to rejoin the unaffected part of Footpath 17 at Sy 47569752. The width of this part of Footpath 17 varies: 1.5 metres between SY 47439771, SY 47429769 and SY 47459763, 1.2 metres between SY 47459763 and SY 47469763 and 2 metres between SY 47469763, SY 47509759 and SY 47569752.
A copy of the order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Reception, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester during normal office hours. Copies are also available on our website at www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/row-orders.
Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Vanessa Penny, Definitive Map Team Manager, Spatial Planning, Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ (Ref: RW/P230), or via email to definitivemapteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk, not later than 10 June 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Any letters received will be made available for public inspection.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Dorset Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.

Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Beaminster
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 16 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30 May 2022. This Order will enable Openreach, safe access to the underground network to lay new duct and clear blockages.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] CHURCH STREET, BEAMINSTER between the Church entrance and St Mary Well Street, a distance of approximately 25 metres.
[2] ST MARY WELL STREET, BEAMINSTER between number 4 and number 14, a distance of approximately 25 metres. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Shadrack Street - A3066.

Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
Temporary Traffic Management Order of Various Roads, Bothenhampton
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 31 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 07 July 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on;
PASTURE WAY, in its entirety, a distance of approximately 480 metres.
COOPERS DRIVE, in its entirety, a distance of approximately 250 metres.
[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along;
PASTURE WAY, in its entirety, a distance of approximately 480 metres.
COOPERS DRIVE, in its entirety, a distance of approximately 250 metres.
[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along;
PASTURE WAY, in its entirety, a distance of approximately 480 metres.
COOPERS DRIVE, in its entirety, a distance of approximately 250 metres.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above and the works are weather dependant. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 30 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11 July 2022.
