Highways Act 1980 Section 119, Herefordshire Council, Public Footpaths WQ6 (Part) and WQ8 (Part) Wigmore Public Path Diversion Order 2022

The above order made on 30th March, 2022 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert that length of Footpaths WQ6 (Part) and WQ8 (Part) in the Parish of Wigmore as follows:
The existing routes of footpath WQ6 running from OS Grid Reference SO 4121 6874 to OS Grid Reference SO 4121 6862 and footpath WQ8 running from OS Grid Reference SO 4125 6871 to OS Grid Reference SO 4123 6866.
Alternative footpaths will be created as follows:
The proposed new routes of footpath WQ6 being 2 metres in width running from OS Grid Reference SO 4121 6874 to OS Grid Reference SO 4121 6862 and footpath WQ8 being 2 metres in width running From OS Grid Reference SO 4125 6871 to OS Grid Reference SO 4121 6865.

Representations or objections to the order must be made in writing to Public Rights of Way Manager, Herefordshire Council, Plough Lane, Hereford, HR4 OLE, or by email to

, quoting reference PROW/D517 and stating your reasons, to be received not later than 14th June, 2022. Your details may be made available to third parties.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State, Department of Environment Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
