(Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.23) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 'the 2019 Order' by:
1. The following definition in Article 3 of the 2019 Order listed in this Notice as Article 1(a), shall be replaced by the following definition in Article 1(b) of this Notice:
(a) "the 2007 Regulations" means the Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (England) General Regulations 2007; (b)"The 2022 Regulations" Means the Civil Enforcement of Road Traffic Contraventions (Approved Devices, Charging Guidelines and General Provisions) (England) Regulations 2022.
2. The following definition in Article 3 of the 2019 Order listed in this Notice as Article 2(a), shall be replaced by the following definition in Article 2(b) of this Notice:
(a) "penalty charge notice" has the same meaning given by Regulation 8(1) of the 2007 Regulations;
(b)"Penalty Charge Notice" means a notice described in Section 78 of the 2004 Act having effect as if issued or served by a Civil Enforcement Officer or posted by the enforcement authority under any regulations for the time being in force under Section 78 of the 2004 Act.
3. The following provisions in Article 109 of the 2019 Order listed in this Notice as Article 3(a), shall be replaced by the following provisions in Article 3(b) of this Notice:
(a) The Penalty Charge shall be payable not later than 16.00 hours on the Applicable Date subject to the provisions of the Penalty Charge and the 2007 Regulations;
(b)The Penalty Charge shall be payable not later than 16.00 hours on the Applicable Date subject to the provisions of the Penalty Charge and the 2022 Regulations.

(Footpath 5, Leaden Roding, Uttlesford), (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section S14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To temporarily close part of Footpath 5, Leaden Roding, in the District of Uttlesford. Footpath 5 from its junction with Footpath 21 Leden Roding, southeast for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
The closure is scheduled to take place on 27 May 2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public whilst works are carried out to repair the footbridge. There is no alternative route.
The Order will come into effect on 27 May 2022 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Beazley End/Parkhall Road, Wethersfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Beazley End, Wethersfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 230m north east of its junction with Codham Little Park Drive for a distance of approximately 340m in a north easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Parkhall Road, Wethersfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Beazley End for a distance of approximately 110m in a north easterly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 9th June 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30029840559 & EC30038640846 -UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Hedingham Road, Wethersfield Road, Almshouse Green, Prayors Hill, Rectory Road, Swan Street, Potter Street, Queen Street, Braintree Road, The Street, Gosfield Road, High Garrett, Broad Road Roundabout, Braintree Bypass - A131, Broad Road, Convent Hill, Church Lane, Church Lane Roundabout, Church Meadows and vice versa (with access into Church Lane, Church Street, Bovingdon Road, Beazley End, Blackmore End, Parkhall Road and Church Road). The Order will come into effect on 19th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(London Road, Rivenhall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of London Road, Rivenhall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Braxted Road t o its junction with A12 a distance of approximately 165m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th June 2022 for 3 nights (19:30 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2319327 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching and ironwork works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Henry Dixon Road, Oak Road, A12 Northbound, Cranes Lane, B1024, A12 Southbound or A12 Southbound, Colemans Bridge, Colchester Road, A12, Oak Road, Henry Dixon Road.
The Order will come into effect on 19th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Notley Road, Coronation Avenue & Kenworthy Road, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Notley Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with South Street to its junction with Stone Close a distance of approximately 220m.
2. To temporarily close that length of Coronation Avenue, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Notley Road for a distance of approximately 15m in a westerly direction.
3. To temporarily close that length of Kenworthy Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Notley Road for a distance of approximately 15m in a south westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 6th June 2022 for 11 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA180S000000000957 - Gigaclear Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre works are undertaken by Gigaclear Limited.
An alternative route is available via St Michaels Road, High Street, London Road, Roseval Roundabout, Link Under Braintree Bypass, Kind William Roundabout, Notley Cross, Garden Village Way Roundabout Springwood Link, Garden Village Way, Garden Village Way Roundabout at Business Park, Garden Village Way, Garden Village Way Roundabout Cuckoo Way, Garden Village Way, London Road Roundabout, London Road, Bakers Lane, Church Road, Notley Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 19th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (No.2) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a temporary 'No Waiting' restriction on both sides of carriageway on the lengths of roads as detailed in the schedule. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
