Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Kersal Road, Prestwich) Temporary Closure Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-
Kersal Road, Prestwich - Temporary Road Closure, opposite no 12
The reason for the proposed order is to enable the replacement of manhole frame and cover.
The diversion route will be along Hilton Lane, Bury New Rd, Moor Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation 15/05/22 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, duration of works is 1 day. Dated 12/05/22 Council Solicitor
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Public Footpath 229, Ramsbottom) Temporary Closure Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along:-
Public Footpath 229, Rams - from Public Footpath 228 for 150m in a north westerly direction
The reason for the proposed order is in the interests of public safety due to construction works
The alternative route will be via Public Footpath 228, Rams & the non-designated
path to the southwest of the pond adjacent to Bast House Farm & vice versa
The proposed Order will come into operation on 19/05/22 and shall remain in force
for a period of up to 6 months (with the possibility of an extension being required).

The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Knowles St/Belgrave St/Robert St/Robertson St, Radcliffe) (Prohibition Of Waiting) (Amendment And Revocation) Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-No Waiting at Any Time.
Knowles St, Radcliffe - both sides from a point 10m north of the northerly kerbline of Belgrave St to a point 10m south of the southerly kerbline of Belgrave St Knowles St, Radcliffe - both sides from a point 10m north of the northerly kerbline of Robert St/Robertson St to a point 10m south of the southerly kerbline of Robert St/Robertson St
Robertson St/Robert St, Radcliffe - both sides from a point 10m west of the westerly kerbline of Knowles St to a point 10m east of the easterly kerbline of Knowles St The Council has also revoked The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Belgrave Street/Knowles Street, Radcliffe)(Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2009 in its entirety as the new order includes the restrictions from that Order.
The Council has also amended The Greater Manchester County (Robert Street and
Watson Street, Radcliffe (Prohibition of Waiting)(Borough) Order 1982.
A copy of the Order (including the exemptions contained in it) which comes into
operation on 13/05/22 and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order
may be inspected at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke St, Bury BL9 0EJ.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on
the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument
made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6
weeks of 13/05/22 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
