Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14(1)(A) The A49 Trunk Road (Hope Under Dinmore To Hereford, Herefordshire) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A49 Trunk Road, between Hope under Dinmore and Hereford, in the District of the County of Herefordshire, to enable bridge repairs and routine maintenance works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to close -

(1) the A49 between its junction with the A417, at Hope under Dinmore, and its roundabout junction with the A4103 Roman Road, at Hereford; and

(2) any layby adjacent to the length of the A49 described in (1) above.

The work will be carried out in two phases, overnight between 21:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to take place on Monday 6 June 2022 for one night and on Friday 17 June 2022 for one night. The layby closures will be in operation from twenty-four hours before the works and continue for the duration of the works. The Order will come into force on 30 May 2022.

Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures. For further information please contact Richard Timothy, on 07849 078 655.
