Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Birchwood Roundabouts (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Birchwood Park Ave from the roundabout at Garret Field/Glover Rd to the roundabout at Warrington Rd/Daten Ave; Glover Rd (North) from the Roundabout at Birchwood Park Ave to Havisham Cl; Kelvin Cl from the Roundabout at Birchwood Park Ave for 50m. The Order will be effective from 30th May 2022 for 6 weeks, between 7pm & 1am, as & when signed on site. The works will be undertaken in phases as follows: Phase 1 roundabout at Birchwood Park Ave/Glover Rd (North); Phase 2 roundabout at Birchwood Park Ave/Kelvin Cl. The alternative route will be via Daten Ave, A574 Birchwood Way, George Duckworth Island, Birchwood Park Ave (to Glover Rd (south)/Garret Field roundabout) & vice versa. The closure is required for carriageway resurfacing. Ref: High/2330

Kenyon Ln, Croft (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway on Kenyon Ln from its jct. with Heath Ln to its jct. with Main Ln. The Order will be effective from 20th June 2022 for 2 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Stone Pit Ln, Sandy Brow Ln, Winwick Ln, Newton Rd & vice versa. The closure is required for culvert reconstruction. Ref: High/2339

The Order will be effective from Friday 27th May 2022 for a period of 4 days as detailed in this notice. The restrictions will be in place as & when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the Event Organiser for the duration of the event. The alternative route will be via Priestley St, Froghall Ln, Midland Way, Manchester Rd, Kingsway Nth, Kingsway Sth & vice versa or via Midland Way, Froghall Ln, Priestley St, Sankey Way, Liverpool Rd, Parker St, Wilson Patten St, Slutchers Ln, Chester Rd, Walton New Rd, Walton Rd & vice versa. The restrictions are required to facilitate The Neighbourhood Weekender Music Festival. Ref: High/2338

Parkside Rd & Winwick Ln (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Parkside Rd from its jct. with Golborne Rd to the Borough Boundary with St. Helens; Winwick Ln from its jct. with M6 jct. 22 to the Borough Boundary with St. Helens. The Order will be effective from 6th June 2022 for 1 week, between 7pm & 6am, as & when signed on site. The closures will be implemented in phases with only one phase in operation at any time as follows: Phase 1 Parkside Rd; Phase 2 Winwick Ln. The alternative routes will be: Parkside Rd via Newton Rd, Mill Ln, Southworth Ln & vice versa; Winwick Ln via Winwick Link Rd, Newton Rd, Mill Ln, Southworth Rd, Newton Rd & vice versa. The closures are required to allow for highway survey works to be undertaken. Ref: High/2334

Jubilee Ave, Penketh (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022 The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Jubilee Ave the section of carriageway fronting numbers
1 Jubilee Ave & 81 Meeting Ln. The Order will be effective from 22nd May 2022 for 1 day, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Jubilee Ave, Meeting Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for British Telecom to erect a new telephone pole. Ref: High/2329

Pipit Ln, Birchwood (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Pipit Ln outside properties 25 to 27. The Order will be effective from 18th May 2022 for 2 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Curlew Gr & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for Electricity North West to carry out electrical connection work. Ref: High/2328

Belmont Cres (Prohibition of Driving, Clearway & Footpath Closure) Temporary Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 3rd February 2022. The effect of which is as follows: Prohibition of Driving & Clearway: Belmont Cres from the gable end of No. 19 Belmont Cres to the gable end of No. 11 Belmont Cres; Footpath Closure: PROW No. 8 from its boundary/ jct. with Belmont Cres (adjacent to no. 32 Belmont Cres) for a distance of approx. 60m in an easterly direction. The Order was to be effective from 21st February 2022 for 14 weeks as follows: Belmont Cres between 9:30am & 5:30pm, Monday to Friday; PROW No. 8 24 hours for the duration, however due to delays on site the restrictions are now required to remain in place until 1st July 2022. The restrictions will be in place when signed on site. Residential access will be maintained for the duration. The alternative routes & reason for the works remains the same as previously advertised. Cromwell Ave (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 24th March 2022. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway on Cromwell Ave from its jct. with Sankey Way to its jct. with Westbrook Cres. The Order was to be effective from 4th April 2022 for 8 weeks, between 9:30am & 3:30pm, however due to delays on site the restrictions are now required to remain in place for a further
2 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative routes & reason for the works remains the same as previously advertised. Ref: High/2309 Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
