(Bridleway No.539079 In The Parish Of Kirkby Ireleth) (Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrans, Horses And Cyclists) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable works to be carried out to lay a track and install drains on land adjacent to the bridleway ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians, horses and cyclists from proceeding along a 30 metre length of Public Bridleway No. 539079 at Gargreave in the Parish of Kirkby Ireleth, between Grid References: 323150 480690 and 323170 480710.
There is no suitable alternative route available. However, when it is safe to do so, an advisory/informal diversion route may be provided, which would be indicated on site by the display of the relevant traffic signs.

The Order will come into operation on 1 June 2022 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required for 60 days.
