Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting& Loading

Campbell Street/Quarry Street/ Church Street/South William Street/ Dimity Street/Mavisbank Terrace/ Park Road, Johnstone

The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Johnstone in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
Campbell Street - between William Street and Dimity Street (both sides) and from Park Road eastwards for approx. 40m (both sides).
Quarry Street - between William Street and Church Street (both sides).
Church Street - from junction with Quarry Street for approx. 30m (both sides).
South William Street - from junction with Quarry Street southwards for approx. 40m (both sides).
Dimity Street - from junction with Campbell Street for approx. 30m (both sides).
Mavisbank Terrace - from junction with Campbell Street for approx. 20m (both sides).
Park Road - from junction with Campbell Street for approx. 20m (both sides).
Reason for Restriction: Access to Overhead Network Works. (Temporary traffic lights)
vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.
Alternative Routes: N/A.

This notice will be in force from Monday 30th May 2022 until Thursday 9th June 2022.
This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
