Somerset County Council District of Sedgemoor Parish of Broomfield Temporary Closure of Broomfield Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Broomfield Road - from the junction with Enmore Road to the junction with Road Through Broomfield to Lydeard Cross. A total distance of 1718 metres. This Order will enable Barden Network Engineering to install fibre cabling on behalf of BT Openreach. The Order becomes effective on 10th May 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 17th May 2022 and last until 30th May 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 14 days. Please visit
