(A72 Nutwood, East of Cardrona) (Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction) Order 2022
The Scottish Borders Council (A72 Nutwood, East of Cardrona) (Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come Into force at 08:00 on 9 May 2022 and Is expected to remain In effect until 16:00 on 3 June 2022 - 24 hour restriction. The Order is required to ensure a safe driving and working environment while retaining wall repairs are carried out
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30mph along the A72 at Nutwood east of Cardrona, from Woodend northwards for approximately 800 metres. A map showing the restriction can be seen atwww.tellmescotland.gov.uk.
