(Ailsa Drive, Giffnock) Temporary Restriction To Use of Road Order 2022

On the 26 April 2022 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on Ailsa Drive, Giffnock in order to facilitate the safe operation of carriageway and footway resurfacing works, scheduled to be carried from Monday 6 June until Friday 15 July 2022.

The Order authorises the closure of the full road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Alternative route: Woodvale Avenue -

Ayr Road - Eastwoodmains Road -Denholm Drive and vice-versa.
