LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTIONS 14(1) AND 14(7)
YORK ROAD. SW19
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate construction and development works at land to the rear of No. 1 a York Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in York Road.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-
(a) York Road, the north side, from a point 12.8 metres west of the western boundary of No. 192b Haydons Road, eastward for a distance of 19.1 metres;
(b) York Road, the south side, from a point 1.2 metres west of the common boundary of No. 5 York Road and No. 190 Haydons Road, eastward for a distance of 13.6 metres.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes in any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order will come into operation on Thursday 19 May 2022 and will remain in force for 12 months.

GARTH ROAD. SM4
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works at No. 141 Garth Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait in Garth Road, the south-west side, from a point 1 metre south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 135 and 141 Garth Road north-westward for a distance of 8.3 metres.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform or Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. The Order will come into operation on Friday 13 May 2022 will remain in force for a maximum period of 12 months.

BROADWAY GARDENS. CR4
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to Facilitate construction and development works at land at the junction of Broadway Gardens with London Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in Broadway Gardens.
2. During the works, no person will;
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Broadway Gardens, both sides, from its junction with London Road westward to the eastern boundary of No. 10 Broadway Gardens;
(b) enter or proceed on the northern footway of Broadway Gardens from a point 4.5 metres west of the north-western kerb-line of London Road westward to the eastern boundary of No. 10 Broadway Gardens.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles between the hours of 10am and 3.30pm Mondays to Fridays and between the hours of 8am and 1 pm on Saturdays; or
(c) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(d) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes in any emergency; or
(e) any persons engaged in the execution of the works.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order will come into operation on Friday 13 May 2022 and will remain in force for 12 months.

CAMP ROAD. SW19
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate drainage investigation and survey works in Camp Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to :-
(a) enter or proceed in Camp Road, from its junction with Westside Common to its junction with Camp View; or
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Camp Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that road or length of road.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Camp View, North View and West Place or vice-versa.
7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency ; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
8. The Order would come into operation on Tuesday 31 st May 2022 with the works anticipated to be carried out that day between the hours of 8am and 6pm. However, the Order would remain in operation for a maximum period of six months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.
