(Springhouse Lane, Ebchester) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (J) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 225 metre length of Springhouse Lane, Ebchester extending southwards from trie junction with B6309 Ebchester Hill, to the junction with Spring Close, Ebchester to enable Durham County Council highway drainage improvement works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the northern side of the closure, south easterly on B6309 to Medomsley crossroads, then south westerly on B6310 Daisy Hill and turning north on West law 'Road to the southern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 23/5/22 from 8am ana are anticipated to be completed in 8 working days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure mayoe necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
