The County Council Of Durham Proposed Construction Of Speed Cushions (Station Lane, Pelton, Chester-Le-Street)

In accordance with Section 90C of the Highways Act 1980 Durham County Council, in exercise of their powers under Section 90G of the Highways Act 1980, propose to construct speed cushions complying with the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 on Station Road, Pelton, Chester-Le-Street. The scheme will comprise of 14 speed cushions across the width of the carriageway between properties 1. Adjacent to number 4 Kingsway Villas 2. Outside Maplewood Cottage 3. Adjacent to number 1 Harelaw Close 4. 122 metres north from 1 Pelton House Farm Estate 5. 52 metres north from Number 1 Pelton House Farm Estate 6. Outside numbers 3 and 4 Pelton House Farm Estate 7. Outside numbers 13 and 14 Pelton House Farm Estate 8. Adjacent to number 1 Bernard Terrace 9. Outside numbers 6 and 7 Bernard Terrace 10. 64 metres south from Number 8 Bernard Terrace 11. 73 metres north from number 7 Hawthorn Terrace 12. 12 metres north from number 7 Hawthorn Terrace 13. Outside (North side) of Pelton Fell Memorial Park 14. Outside number 1 Station Lane. Please refer to plan attached to this notice for location, dimensions, layout and construction details of the speed cushions.
