(Benridge Bank, West Rainton) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on up to 110 metres of Benridge Bank that extends north eastwards between 'Benridge' and A690, West Rainton to enable electricity cable works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the western side of the restriction via Chantry Place or Benridge Bank, South Street and Hall Lane to A690. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 20/5/22 from 7.30am and are anticipated to be completed in 8 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
