(Morley Lane, Brancepeth) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 29/4/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 2150 metres of Morley Lane, Brancepeth from the junction with Wolsingham Road to the junction of Brandon Lane to enable Durham County Council patching prior to surface dressing works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the south side of the closure, via Wolsingham Road south, then A690 north, north-west onto Sawmills Lane, and west onto Pit Lane/ Brandon Lane, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 9/5/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 6 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
