Upgrade Traffic Signal Junctions and Pedestrian Crossings at the Junction of A121 (High Road), The Drive and Brooklyn Avenue/Brooklyn Parade, Loughton Relocation of Traffic Signals and Pedestrian Crossing on Brooklyn Avenue at its Junction with Brooklyn Parade, Loughton
Notice is hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Essex County Council proposes the following, in the District of Epping Forest:
1. To Refurbish the three sets of Traffic Signals and Pedestrian Crossings located at the junction of the A121 (High Road), The Drive and Brooklyn Avenue/Brooklyn Parade, Loughton.
The traffic signals and existing controlled crossing equipment used at this junction are to be upgraded to Extra Low Voltage (ELV) technology as part of the refurbishment of traffic signal technology across Essex. The traffic signal poles will be fitted with near-sided pedestrian signals (not far sided signals). The crossings will remain in the same location, except for Brooklyn Avenue (see below)
2. Relocate the Traffic Signal set and Pedestrian Crossing on Brooklyn Avenue at its junction with the A121 and Brooklyn Parade, Loughton.
The equipment and crossing will be relocated 2.4 metres southeast from its current location to ensure that the new installation is to current standards. The proposed crossing centre line will be 5.7 metres southeast of its junction with Brooklyn Parade. The double yellow lines are to be repositioned and reinstated either side of the crossing.
Further details: (1) The current parking restrictions (yellow lines) will remain in force by virtue of the crossing points and existing Traffic Orders. (2) The minimum distance between the studs and stop lines at the pedestrian crossings will be 2.4 metres. (3) No zigzags installed, as they are not required at a junction. (A1025 M11 Junction 7a Link Road Eastbound Carriageway, Sheering) (Temporary 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984 (as amended) in the interests of public safety.
Effect of the order: To impose a speed limit of 40mph on that new length of the A1025 M11 junction 7a Link Road Eastbound Carriageway, Sheering in the District of Epping Forest, from the Campions roundabout eastwards to the Western Dumbbell roundabout of M11 junction 7a, a distance of approximately 651 metres (0.4 miles).
The Speed limit Order will come into force on Friday 06 May 2022 and will come into effect on that date or when the road is open to the public whichever is the later. The restriction is required for public safety following a detailed safety audit of the route. Notice is also given that the permanent speed limit process will also shortly be commenced. The speed restriction will remain in force under this temporary order for up to 18 months.

(Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment Number 30) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 Has Made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce 'No Waiting restrictions' on Trotters Road/Pear Tree Mead in the district of Harlow. This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TL460 082 revision 0 replaced with revision 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 23rd May 2022.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Brady Avenue, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brady Avenue, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Goldingham Avenue to its junction with Coldbrook Lane a distance of approximately 155m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st June 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WC7NG67K01A - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Goldingham Avenue, Burney Drive, Colebrook Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 12th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway and a 30mph Speed Limit) (No.4) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit on that length of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

(Hoe Lane, Nazeing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hoe Lane, Nazeing in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 815m northwest of its junction with Betts Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in a northwesterly then southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th May 2022 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX060215ND276/02 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Middle Street, Nazeing Common, Betts Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 28th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Tower Road, Epping) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tower Road, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with High Street to its junction with Lower Swaines a distance of approximately 565m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th May 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2327945 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via High Street, Crows Road, Lower Swaines and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 28th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
