3. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (SALISBURY) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, TAXI RANK CLEARWAYS AND ON STREET PARKING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2013 (AMENDMENT NO.29) ORDER 2022
Notice is hereby given that on 27 April 2022 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Order 3 also under the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which is as follows:
Order 1 - To revoke the following Orders: The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Salisbury) (One-Way) Order 2005, The County of Wiltshire (Fairview Road, Herbert Road and Tournament Road, Salisbury) (One Way Traffic) Order 1987, The County of Wiltshire (Fowlers Hill, Salisbury) (One Way Traffic) Order 1994, The County of Wiltshire (Rollestone Street, Salisbury) (One Way Traffic) Order 1995, The County of Wiltshire (South Street, Salisbury) (One Way Traffic) Order 1999, The County of Wiltshire (C56, Phillips Lane, Old Sarum, Salisbury) (One Way Traffic) Order 2000, re-enact them in the above Order 1 and to change the current one way traffic on Queen Street and High Street to one way traffic with exemption for pedal cycles.
Order 2 - To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Queen Street, Salisbury) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 1998 and to introduce a prohibition of motor vehicles on the complete length of Queen Street.
Order 3 - To amend the following restrictions in the Salisbury Consolidation Order 2013 revoking Map Schedule Nos IK83 (Central Zone) and IK83 (Zone E) both dated 25/03/2019 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos IK83 (Central Zone) and IK83 (Zone E) the effect of which will be as follows: To remove the current Loading only 8am-6pm and to introduce No waiting at any time on the south side of New Canal from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 15 and 17 New Canal to a point 8 metres west of that boundary. To remove the current Loading only 8am-6pm and to introduce Goods vehicles loading only 6am-6pm on the following lengths of road: Blue Boar Row -south side - from a point 3 metres west of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 41-44 and 45 Blue Boar Row to a point 12 metres east of that boundary; Catherine Street - west side - from a point 10 metres south of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 8 and 10 Catherine Street to a point 5 metres north of that boundary; Minster Street - west side - from a point 2 metres south of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 3-5 and 7 Minster Street to a point 20 metres north of that boundary; New Canal - north side - from a point 8 metres east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 14 New Canal and 7 Fish Row to a point 6 metres west of that boundary; Winchester Street - north side - from a point 4 metres east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 1 and 3 Winchester Street to a point 20 metres east of that boundary. To remove the current Loading only 8am-6pm and No waiting Sat 6pm-midnight and Sun midnight-6am and to introduce Good vehicles loading only 6am-6pm and No waiting Sat 6pm-midnight and Sun midnight-6am on the north side of Milford Street from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 1-3 and 7-9 Milford Street to a point 13 metres east of that boundary.
A copy of the Orders can be obtained via email request to TrafficOrders@wiltshire.gov.uk. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 9 May 2022.
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A360 Devizes Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Ramleaze Drive to its junction with St Pauls Roundabout to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, patching works, road marking, adjustment of ironworks and associated works.
Alternative route via A36, The Avenue, Devizes Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 10 January 2022 will now recommence on 09 May 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until 18 May 2022. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Footpath 25, Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with Hatts Hill to its junction with Semley Common;
B) Footpath 38, Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with C299 to its junction with Barkers Hill;
C) Footpath 39, Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with Footpath 38, Sedgehill and Semley to its junction with Barkers Hill to enable Wessex Water to install a new water supply pipeline to provide better resilience and higher quality water supply to the local area.
Alternative route (A): via Hatts Lane - Footpath 26 Sedgehill and Semley - Bridleway 28, Sedgehill and Semley and vice versa. Alternative route (B) and (C): Barkers Hill - Green Lane and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 01 June 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 7:30 and 17:00 for 06 months.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
D) Sutton Road (Part), Fovant; from its junction with Dean Lane to outside property known as Field View to enable BT to carry out overhanging cabling and associated works. Alternative route via Dean Lane - A30 - C64 - C276 - Sutton Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 May 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. E) B3083 (Part), Stapleford; from outside property known as Greenacres for a distance of approximately 480m in a northerly direction to enable Openreach to provide a safe working zone for pole test, tree cutting and associated works. Alternative route via B3083 (unaffected length) - A303 - A36 - B3083 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 May 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. For further information please contact Openreach on 02032518730.
F) Dinton Road (Part), Wylye; for a distance of approximately 20m either side of the level crossing to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out level crossing scheme and associated works. Alternative route via C64 (unaffected length) - B3089 - C277 - C276 - A303 - C10 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 May 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 23:30 and 09:30 for 1 night. The closure will then be required on 12 May 2022 between the hours of 23:00 and 06:00 for 1 night. For further information please contact Centurion Traffic Management on 0113 277 5360. Orders (a) to (c) will have a maximum duration of 06 months and Orders (d) to (f) will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
