Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. On 28 April 2022 Worcestershire County Council made
an Experimental Order which will restrict waiting
Monday - Friday 9 am - 4 pm on the following lengths
and sides of road in Worcester: -
Comer Road (East side) from a point 52 metres north of
its junction with Lapal Close to a point 14 metres south
of its junction with Comer Avenue (West side) from a
point 22 metres south of its junction with Oldbury Road
for 220 metres in a southerly direction.
The Experimental Order will come into operation on
12 May 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months.

(Footpath WT-500, Whittington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 15 October 2020 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath WT-500, Whittington for its entire length, which was due to expire on 27 April 2022 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 30 September 2022 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Order has been made due to construction work for a new housing development.
