Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends to make the above Order under sections 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations 1996.
Effect of the order:
To Introduce: '30mph Speed Limit' on the following lengths of road, in the Parishes of Great Bromley, and Frating, in the District of Tendring:
Road Description
B1029 Frating Road and B1029 Bromley Road
From its junction with the A133 Main Road (Colchester Road), northwards for a total distance of approximately 1895 metres, to a point approximately 150 metres north of its junction with Harwich Road.
Harwich Road
From a point approximately 100 metres west of its junction with B1029 Frating Road eastwards for a distance of approximately 1350 metres.
To Revoke and Introduce: '30mph Speed Limit' on the following lengths of road, in the Parish of Frating:
Road Description
Chapel Lane For its entire length.
The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (40mph Speed Limit) (No. 2) Order 2010' is hereby revoked insofar as it relates to the lengths of road at Great Bromley. 'The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Restricted Roads) Order 2007' is hereby revoked insofar as it relates to the lengths of road at Frating Cross.

Permanent Making of Experimental Revisions from The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.23) Experimental Order 2021
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To revoke existing restrictions on Balkerne Gardens, Balkerne Gate and Balkerne Passage; to introduce 'Restricted Zone (No Waiting At Any Time and No Loading 10am-11pm)' on Balkerne Gardens, Balkerne Gate and Balkerne Passage for their entire lengths; to introduce 'Bus and Coach Parking Only' bay on Balkerne Gardens and to introduce 'Loading only' bays on Balkerne Gardens and Balkerne Gate in the Borough of Colchester This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile number TL990 250 with revision 2.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 9th May 2022.

(Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No. 25) Experimental Order 2022
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 has made an Order under Sections 9 and 10 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To revoke existing restrictions on Old Ipswich Road, Crown Lane North and on the Access Road to The Beeches, The Cedars and The Oaks on an experimental basis; to introduce No Stopping At Any Time and to introduce Limited Waiting For Cars only 6 hours no return within 1 hour on Old Ipswich Road.
This Order will be incorporated on an experimental basis into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile number TM020 292 with revision 1, TM020 290 with revision 1 and TM020 287 with revision 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into effect on 9th May and may last up to 18 months. Any alterations to this Order which will render it less restrictive may be authorised by the Parking Partnership Group Manager without the requirement to re-advertise the Order under Section 10(2) of the said Act, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police.

Objections: The Council will consider in due course whether the provisions of the experimental order should be continued in force indefinitely. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Birch Road, Copford in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Fountain Lane a distance of approximately 990m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th May 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2328247 - Essex County Council). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Walnut Tree Way, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Rayner Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th May 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30049409571 - UK Power Networks). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bakers Lane, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Spring Lane North for a distance of approximately 90m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th May 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA52368155 -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Connaught Avenue, Frinton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Walton Road to its junction with Pole Barn Lane a distance of approximately 60m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd May 2022 for 1 night (23:50-04:50), or where stated on a valid permit (KL735TWN-68-79-230522 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Road, East Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 15m west of its junction with Shop Lane for a distance of approximately 175m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd May 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010650904/2 - Anglian Water). (Manor Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Crowhurst Road/Manor Road, Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Manor Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Rawstorn Road for a distance of approximately 55m in an easterly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in that length of Manor Road from its junction with Crowhurst Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a westerly direction for the duration of the above closure only.
3. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in that length of Crowhurst Road from its juncition with Papillon Road to its junction with Manor Road a distance of approximately 70m for the duration of the above closure only.
'The Colchester Borough (Popes Lane, Manor Road, etc) (One Way) Order 1976 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary suspension of one way. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd May 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03056760737 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while disconnection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wigborough Road, Peldon in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 395m south west of its junction with Lower Road for a distance of approximately 235m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th May 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS293243AA - Openreach). (Winstree Road, Stanway) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Winstree Road, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Wheatfield Road to its junction with Holly Road a distance of approximately 215m.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in that length of Winstree Road, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Wheatfield Road to its junction with Holly Road a distance of approximately 215m.
The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 16th May 2022 for 6 nights (19:00 -06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153066037 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway resurfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Winstree Road, Blackberry Road, Warren Lane, Church Lane, Tollgate Road, Tollgate Roundabout, London Road, Villa Road, Chapel Road, Winstree Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 5th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
