(Various Roads, Burnham-on-Crouch, Maldon) (20mph Zone) Order 202*


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under section 84(1)(a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), S36 of Road Traffic Act 1988, S90A-F of the Highways Act 1980, and Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations 1996.
Effect of the order: To Implement 20mph Zone on the following lengths of road, Burnham-on-Crouch, in the District of Maldon:

Road
Description
Ambrosia Avenue From its junction with Bramley Avenue to its junction with Braeburn Close, for its entire length.
Braeburn Close From its junction with Lord Darby Way, for its entire length, including any turn points.
Bramley Avenue From its junction with Pippins Road, for its entire lengths, including any turn points.
Lord Darby Way From its junction with Braeburn Close, for its entire length, including any turn points.

(Grange Avenue, Mayland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Grange Avenue, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 75m south east of its junction with Steeple Road for a distance of approximately 110m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th May 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M37800 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while permanent reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Grange Avenue, Steeple Road, Burnham Road, Burnham Road - B1018, Green Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 28th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
