(A1245 Chelmsford Road, Rawreth) (Derestriction) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2) and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To remove the restricted road status and therefore apply national speed limit on the following length of A1245 Chelmsford Road, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 860 metres northwest of its junction with Church Road to a point approximately 150 metres south east of its junction with Church Road. A total distance of approximately 1010 metres.

(The Fryth, Fryerns) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Fryth, Fryerns in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Whitmore Way to its junction with Quilters Straight a distance of approximately 776m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th May 2022 for 3 nights (20:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2328254 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while maintenance works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Quilters Straight, Whitmore Way and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(High Street, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Station Approach for a distance of approximately 40m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th May 2022 for 1 night (00:01-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701SSV-29-176-280522 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via High Street, London Road, London Road Roundabout, Golden Jubilee Way Runwell Road Roundabout, Runwell Road, The Broadway and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Hockley Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hockley Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from a
point approximately 100m south west of its junction with Upway for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd May 2022 for 10 nights (21:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031001141187 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Hockley Road, Hambro Hill, High Road, Aldermans Hill, Main Road, Southend Road, Hall Road, Hall Road Roundabout, Cherry Orchard Way, Cherry Orchard Way Roundabout, Eastwoodbury Lane and Cherry Orchard Roundabout, Eastwoodbury Lane, Nestuda Way, St Laurence Way, Prince Avenue And Nestuda Way Roundabout, Thanet Grange, Prince Avenue North, Prince Avenue, Rayleigh Road, Eastwood Road, Daws Heath Road, Websters Way and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Castle Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Castle Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with High Street to its junction with Moat Rise a distance of approximately 320m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th May 2022 for 17 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30035176054 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Daws Heath Road, Eastwood Road, High Street and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 28th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Hardings Elms Road, Ramsden Crays) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hardings Elms Road, Ramsden Crays in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Crays Hill to its junction with Wash Road a distance of approximately 610m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th May 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2325680 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway maintenance works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Wash Road, Barleylands Road, Southend Road, Crays Hill and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 28th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Market Road, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Market Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 120m west of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th May 2022 for 3 nights (08:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2327711 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Market Road, Irvon Hill Road, London Road, London Road Roundabout, High Street and vice versa.
