Notice Of Making Cheshire West And Chester Borough Council Heath Lane, Ash House Lane, Shutley Lane, Cogshall Lane Little Leigh (30mph/40mph Speed Limit) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which came into force on 29th April 2022. The effect of the order will be to prohibit any vehicle from exceeding 30mph/40mph on the lengths of road specified in the schedule. The new limits are set out in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE - 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT Cogshall Lane
- from its junction with Shutley Lane for a distance of 307 metres in a north easterly direction. Ash House Lane - from its junction with Shutley Lane to a point 13 metres west of its junction with Clatterwick Lane.
- from its junction with Shutley Lane for a distance of 307 metres in a north easterly direction.
- from its junction with Shutley Lane to a point 13 metres west of its junction with Clatterwick Lane.

SCHEDULE - 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT Heath Lane
- from its junction with A49 Tarporley Road to its junction with Ash House Lane. Shutley Lane - from its junction with A533 Runcorn Road to its junction with Ash House Lane. Ash House Lane - from its junction with A533 Runcorn Road to a point 13 metres west of its junction with Clatterwick Lane. If you wish to question the validity of the order or any of its provisions on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instruments made under it has not been complied with, you may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
