Public Exhibition to be held in respect of a Greener Grid Park Land South of Ayr Road, Coylton, East Ayrshire

Proposal for erection of a Greener Grid Park, by Statkraft UK Ltd, (Company Number: 05742795) for battery energy storage and grid stability systems with associated works, up to 50MW, near Coylton substation.
Statkraft invites members of the public to view the proposal for a Greener Grid Park on land south of Ayr Road, Coylton, East Ayrshire.
An in-person public exhibition will be held at Ochiltree Community Hub, 45 Main Street, Ochiltree, KA18 2PE on Thursday 26 May 2022 at 3pm - 6.30pm, with all exhibition material also available on our website at

A virtual public exhibition will be held on Thursday 16 June 2022, with interactive sessions on the proposals taking place at 11am - 1pm and at 5pm - 7pm and these will be accessed via our website a

The public exhibition events will provide an opportunity for comments and questions on the Proposal. Please note that this notice does not relate to a planning application and that any comments made on the proposals to Statkraft UK at this stage are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to East Ayrshire Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity then to make formal representations.
