Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 29 April 2022 and Friday 29 July 2022 the following roads will be closed for days, nights, or both day and night for a period of approximately one to 15 days, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where Indicated by traffic signs. These works may Include carriageway and footway reconstruction and resurfacing works. In some cases, It may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. Main Road, Thorley for its entire length; Thorley Street, Yarmouth for its entire length; Wellow Top Road, Shalfleet for its entire length; Summer Lane, Totland for its entire length; Newport Road, Freshwater for its entire length; Hoxall Lane, Brighstone for its entire length; Elm Lane, Calbourne for its entire length; Pound Lane, Calbourne for its entire length; Corf Road, Porchfield for its entire length; Whitehouse Cross for its entire length; New Street, Newport for its entire length; Chapel Street, Newport for its entire length; Albert Street, Newport for its entire length; St Johns Road, Newport for its entire length; Clarence Road, Newport for its entire length; School Lane, Carisbrooke for its entire length; Medina Avenue, Newport for its entire length; Church Litten, Newport for its entire length; Whitesmith Road, Newport for its entire length; Heytesbury Road, Newport for its entire length; Bouldnor Road, Yarmouth between its junctions with Thorley Road and Hill Place Lane.
The alternative routes will be signposted locally. The closures are required for safety during rectification works.
Notice is hereby given that the following Orders have been made under Section 14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: -
The Isle of Wight Council (Pan Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0600 hours on Friday 6 May 2022 for a period of 18 months, a temporary one-way restriction be introduced on Pan Lane, in a northerly direction from Godric road to a point 120m south of the junction with Home Meade. The alternate route travelling south is Furrlongs, St Georges Way, Godric Road and Pan Lane. The restriction is being introduced on the grounds of road safety to avoid the likelihood of danger to the public.
The Isle of Wight Council (Pan Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary 20mph Speed Restriction) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0600 hours on Friday 6 May 2022 for a period of 18 months, a temporary 20mph speed limit restriction be introduced on Pan Lane from the existing 20mph limit (a point 120m south of the junction with Home Meade) to the junction with Godric Road. The restriction is being introduced on the grounds of road safety to avoid the likelihood of danger to the public.
The Isle of Wight Council (Pan Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary 6' 6" Width Restriction) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0600 hours on Friday 6 May 2022 for a period of 18 months, a temporary 6' 6" (2.0m) width restriction be introduced on Pan Lane from the junction with Godric Road to a point 120m south of the junction with Home Meade. The restriction is being introduced on the grounds of road safety to avoid the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Isle of Wight Council (Madeira Road, Seaview, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic & No Waiting At Any Time) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1400 hours on Monday 02 May, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along or wait along Madeira Road for its entire length. The closure and restriction are required for safety during the May Bank Holiday Street Fayre. The diversion will be signposted locally.
