Temporary Closure of Various Roads -Child Okeford
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 1 October 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
[i] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along butts  MELWAY GARDENS, CHILD OKEFORD from its junction with Melway Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 125 metres.
[ii] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along  RIDGEWAY LANE, CHILD OKEFORD from the junction or where it meets with Gold Hill (in both directions), a distance of approximately 225 metres.
[iii] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Melway Gardens and Ridgeway Lane. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Various Roads -Shaftesbury
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 1 October 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
[i] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along butts BUTTS MEAD, SHAFTESBURY from its junction with Lower Blandford Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 125 metres.
[ii] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along HAWKESDENE, SHAFTESBURY from the junction or where it meets with Hawkesdene lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 110 metres.
[iii] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along GOLD HILL, SHAFTESBURY from its junction or where it meets with Layton Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 70 metres.
[iiii] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along RATCLIFF'S GARDEN, SHAFTESBURY from the junction with St James Street (in both directions), a distance of approximately 200 metres.
[v] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along UMBERS HILL, SHAFTESBURY from the junction with Breach Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 130 metres.
[vi] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along CHURCH HILL, SHAFTESBURY between its junction with the A30 and Breach Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 550 metres.
[vii] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along THE VENN, SHAFTESBURY, from the junction with Lane Side (in both directions), a distance of approximately 160 metres.
[viii] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along WOODLANDS LANE, SHAFTESBURY, between its junction with New Road and Shaftesbury Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 180 metres.
[viiii] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along all roads listed above. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 1 October 2022. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
[i] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along CHURCH LANE, SUTTON WALDRON from its junction and where it meets with The Street (in both directions), a distance of approximately 260 metres.
[ii] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along CHURCH LANE, SUTTON WALDRON. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986 A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Park Estate Road, Portland
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 6 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 May 2022. The works will take place between 05:00hrs and 18:00hrs, however the road will re-open each day at morning and afternoon peak times as indicated by signs on site. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surface dressing works. The effect of this Order is as follows;
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Park Estate Road for its entirety. [2] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Park Estate Road for its entirety. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Weymouth -Various Surface Dressing
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 3 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13 May 2022. The working hours will be between 05:00 and 18:00, please note the roads will be re-opened during peak times.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surfacing works. The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary road closures on the following roads between 3 May 2022 and 13 May 2022 as indicated by signs on site;
- Bridlebank Way - Lynmoor Road - Westhaven - Russell Avenue - St Leonards Road - Newberry Road - Williams Avenue - Fairview Road
- Walker Crescent
[2] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along the following roads between 3 May 2022 and 13 May 2022 as indicated by signs on site; - Bridlebank Way - Lynmoor Road - Westhaven - Russell Avenue - St Leonards Road
- Newberry Road - Williams Avenue - Fairview Road - Walker Crescent. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 29 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 9 May 2022. The works will take place between 05:00hrs and 18:00hrs, however the road will re-open each day at morning and afternoon peak times as indicated by signs on site. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surface dressing works. The effect of this Order is as follows;
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Coombe Valley Road from its junction with Littlemoor Road to the national speed limit terminal signs. [2] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Coombe Valley Road from its junction with Littlemoor Road to the national speed limit signs.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
