Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Beaminster
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 16 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30 May 2022.
This Order will enable Openreach, safe access to the underground network to lay new duct and clear blockages.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] CHURCH STREET, BEAMINSTER between the Church entrance and St Mary Well Street, a distance of approximately 25 metres.
[2] ST MARY WELL STREET, BEAMINSTER between number 4 and number 14, a distance of approximately 25 metres.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Shadrack Street - A3066

Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Langdon Lane, Beaminster
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 04 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 May 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway surfacing works.
The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on LANGDON LANE, BEAMINSTER, from its junction with Hollymoor Common Lane, a distance of approximately 1000 metres. On this occasion there will be no specified alternative route for diverted traffic.
[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along LANGDON LANE, BEAMINSTER, from its junction with Hollymoor Common Lane, a distance of approximately 1000 metres
[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along LANGDON LANE, BEAMINSTER, from its junction with Hollymoor Common Lane, a distance of approximately 1000 metres. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above and the works are weather dependant.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 07 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 May 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on EGGARDON LANE, POWERSTOCK in its entirety, a distance of approximately 1380 metres. On this occasion there will be no specified alternative route for diverted traffic.
[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along EGGARDON LANE, POWERSTOCK in its entirety, a distance of approximately 1380 metres.
[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along EGGARDON LANE, POWERSTOCK in its entirety, a distance of approximately 1380 metres.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
