Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14 The A66 Trunk Road (Thornaby Road Interchange) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the A66 Trunk Road, in the Borough of Stockton-On-Tees, to enable horticulture works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to start on Wednesday 25 May 2022 for 1 night, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am. The effect of the Order will be to close, at times during the works, the A66 eastbound entry slip road at Thornaby Road Interchange. During the closure a suitably signed alternative route will be available. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibition (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes).
