Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14 The A19 Trunk Road (Holystone Interchange) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the A19 Trunk Road, in the County of North Tyneside, to enable horticulture works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start on Monday 23 May 2022 for 1 night, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am. The effect of the Order will be, at times during the works, to close the A19:
(i) southbound entry slip road at Holystone Interchange; and

(ii) northbound exit slip road at Holystone Interchange.

During the closures suitably signed alternative routes will be available. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance). The Order comes into force on 22 May 2022 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
