(Priors Grange & Footpath No 23, High Pittington) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 22/4/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on the following lengths of footpath on High Pittington: 1. A 40 metre length between the electrical sub-station and number 100 Priors Grange.
2. A 110 metre length of public footpath number 23 between the electric sub-station and a 55 metre length of footpath linking the public right of way to the frontage of number 178 Priors Grange.

3. A 40 metre length linking number 132 Priors Grange with the link footpath in 2. Above.

4. A 55 metre length between numbers 194 and 220 Priors Grange to enable new electric cable installation works to be undertaken. Alternative routes will

be available to pedestrian traffic locally via other footpaths and footways of Priors Grange. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 3/5/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 9 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
