(Iveston Lane, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 22/4/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 45 metres of Iveston Lane, Consett, between Whitehall Lane and Lund's Lane to enable gas main works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the west side of the closure, A691 Woodside Bank south, then north on Gorecock Lane / Lund's Lane, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 3/5/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 6 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
