LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
EFFRA ROAD. SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Effra Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) proceed westbound in Effra Road, between the common boundary of Nos. 139 and 141 Effra Road and its junction with Haydons Road, (one-way working eastbound only);
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Effra Road, from a point 2 metres west of the common boundary of Nos. 178 and 180 Effra Road to its junction with Haydons Road.
3. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Traffic affected by the one-way restriction should proceed via Haydons Road, Queens Road, Birkbeck Road and Effra Road.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes in any emergency, subject to site conditions.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order would come into operation on Monday 23 May 2022 and remain in force for up to 6 months.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
MURRAY ROAD. SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate crane operations and associated works in Murray Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Murray Road, between its junction with Ridgway and the common boundary of Nos. 51 and 53 Murray Road;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of Murray Road specified in subparagraph (a) above;
(c) enter or proceed in the southern footway of Murray Road adjacent to the works site.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Murray Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Lauriston Road, Ridgway, Southside Common and The Grange as required.
6. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.
7. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
9. The Order will come into operation on Tuesday 10th May 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will take place that day. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should the works be delayed or further works be required.

GARTH ROAD. SM4 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works at No. 141 Garth Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait in Garth Road, the south-west side, from a point 1 metre south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 135 and 141 Garth Road north-westward for a distance of 8.3 metres.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform or Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. The Order would come into operation on Friday 13 May 2022 would remain in force for a maximum period of 12 months.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTIONS 14(1) AND 14(7)
BROADWAY GARDENS. CR4 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate construction and development works at land at the junction of Broadway Gardens with London Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in Broadway Gardens.
2. During the works, no person would;
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Broadway Gardens, both sides, from its junction with London Road westward to the eastern boundary of No. 10 Broadway Gardens;
(b) enter or proceed on the northern footway of Broadway Gardens from a point 4.5 metres west of the north-western kerb-line of London Road westward to the eastern boundary of No. 10 Broadway Gardens.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles between the hours of 10am and 3.30pm Mondays to Fridays and between the hours of 8am and 1 pm on Saturdays; or
(c) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(d) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes in any emergency; or
(e) any persons engaged in the execution of the works.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order would come into operation on Friday 13 May 2022 and would remain in force for 12 months.
