Kingsland, Temporary Road Closure

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1039 From Bicton House To Kingsland, Kingsland, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1039 From Bicton House To Kingsland, Kingsland, Lugg Bridge. Grid Ref: 344891/262178. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via B4362 onto A4110 onto C1036 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to parapet wall repair works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 23rd of May 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.
