Temporary Road Closure 3/227 Box Road (Cam Parish) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 3/227 Box Road from its junction with Tocknells Court to its junction with Brunei Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres. The reason for the closure is for Western Power works.
The road is expected to be closed from 3rd May 2022 until 6th May 2022 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit

Emergency access to premises on or next to the road will not be maintained as the works will block the road. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Public Notice Gloucestershire County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Sections 35c and 46a Variation of on-street parking charges no. 1 2022

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend, not less than twenty one (21) days from the date of this notice, to vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 ("the 2017 Order") under Sections 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 25 of the Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996, by amending Schedule 1 to the 2017 Order by varying the way the pay and display charges are currently made as shown in Schedule A below to the new way the on-street parking charges will be paid shown in Schedule B.
Please note that there is no price increase but payment will now be cashless with only card payments being accepted. The changes are due to come into force on 4th July 2022.
