OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(CAVERSFIELD PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, for road safety reasons is to amend the speed limits in Caversfield as follows:

1. On Fringford Road - Extend the 40mph speed limit, in



place of the existing 60mph national speed limit, southwards to its junction with the A4095 for an approximate distance of 320 metres, and then

2. On Aunt Ems Lane - Extend the 40mph speed limit north-westwards from the existing 40mph speed limit to its junction with the B4100, an approximate distance of 390 metres, replacing the current 60mph national speed limit by the same amount.



The Oxfordshire County Council (Caversfield Parish) (Speed Limit) Order 2003 will be revoked/replaced. Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting:

Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations, may be sent in writing to the address below, or via the web address above, no later than 27 May 2022. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref.
