HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:


(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE EASTBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING ONTO SWANLAND ROAD, SOUTH MIMMS) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the eastbound slip road leading onto Swanland Road, South Mimms from its junction with the eastbound carriageway of Bignells Corner north eastwards to its junction with Swanland Road, a distance of approximately 29m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Bignells Corner and Swanland Road. The Order is needed because traffic signal refurbishment works are proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 2 May 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BLANCHE LANE, SOUTH MIMMS)
ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Blanche Lane, South Mimms from a point 280m south east of its junction with the Crossoaks Lane roundabout south eastwards for a distance of approximately 150m ("the Road"), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because carriageway resurfacing works are proposed to be executed on the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 May 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

ROAD HUMP NOTICE (YORK CRESCENT,
BOREHAMWOOD) 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under Sections 90A - 90F of the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, to install a flat topped road hump in that length of York Crescent, Borehamwood as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

SCHEDULE:
Flat topped road hump - proposed to be installed on that section of road herein listed and as set out in the scheme plan - York Crescent, from a point 1 metre north west of a point in line with the north west kerbline of A5135 Elstree Way north westwards for approximately 7 metres.
The above flat-topped road hump will be constructed at a height of approximately 75mm above the existing carriageway with on/off gradients of approximately 1:10.
