NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-St Margaret's Rd, Prestwich - Temporary Road Closure
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-St Margaret's Rd, Prestwich - Temporary Road Closure
The closure will come in to place to enable cleaning of chambers in carriageway. Alternative route will be via Bury Old Rd A665, Heywood Rd and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on 03/05/2022 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, (Anticipated duration of works -1 day) Dated 28/04/2022 Council Solicitor
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Bradley Fold Rd, Radclrffe) Temporary Closure Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
Bradley Fold Rd, Radcliffe - from its junction with Bury & Bolton Rd/Bury New Rd for a distance of 135 metres in a northerly direction (to No. 242 Bradley Fold Rd) The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate gas works.
The alternative route will be via Bury & Bolton Rd, Starling Rd, Cockey Moor Rd and Church St and vice-versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 09 May 2022 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 3 weeks. Dated 28 April 2022 Council Solicitor

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along:-Public Footpaths 3 & 4, Whitefield - full length
Public Footpath 2, Whitefield - from Public Footpath 3, Whitefield for 460m in a northerly direction
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate archaeological investigation works The alternative route will be via Byway 85, Bury, Bridleway Tl & Moss Hall Rd & vice versa
The Order comes into operation on 02/05/22 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 6 weeks initially (subject to change dependent on any discoveries). Dated 28/04/22 Council Solicitor
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Burrs Close/Brandlesholme Rd, Bury) Temporary No Left Turn And No Right Turns Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
1) No left turn from Brandleshohne Rd into Burrs Close
2) No right turn from Brandleshlme Rd into Burrs Close
3) No right turn from Burrs Close into Brandleshohne Rd
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate sewer investigation and de-silting works.
The alternative route will be via Brandlesholme Rd, Holme Ave and Garside Hey Rd The proposed Order will come into operation on Wednesday 11 May 2022 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is 1 day. Dated 28 April 2022
