Notice Of Making An Order

1. The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order for Openreach to replace a telegraph pole THEY HAVE MADE an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic: -

Crockenhill Road, St Mary Cray will be closed for one day on Sunday 1st May 2022. The point of the closure will be in between the junctions of Sheepcote Lane and Bransell Close. The closure will be in place from 09:30 until 15:30. Displaced traffic will be diverted via: -
Blacksmiths Lane B258, High Street St Mary Cray B258, Mill Brook Road B258, Station Road, B258, Sevenoaks Way A224, Edgington Way A223, Maidstone Road B2173, London Road B2173, Bartholomew Way B258, Swanley Lane B258, High Street Swanley B258, Goldsel Road B258, Green Court Road B258, Broadway B258 and Cray Road B258 in both directions.
2. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. THE Order will come into effect on Sunday 1st May 2022 with no specified finish date.

4. ALTHOUGH the Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, it is expected that the actual works will that the works will take up to one day to complete and will begin on or after the commencement date of the Order.

5. NOTHING in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer in uniform or a Traffic Warden.

6. THE restriction referred to in this Order shall not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the work.

7. ACCESS to properties will be maintained at all times, however vehicles will need to follow the diversion signs displayed on site whilst the closure is in place. Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian access will be available at all times during the works.
