Section 14 - The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice Of Traffic Orders For Temporary Road
Closures And Restrictions

Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL made the following temporary orders:
(STR000340 Rodbourne Road, Swindon) This Order is being introduced to allow excavation works for fibre network and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Rodbourne Road between Redcliffe Street and Dean Street. Traffic to be diverted via B4006 Great Western Way, A3102 Wootten Bassett Road, B4289 Westcott Place and vice versa. The Order will come into force on the 16 May 2022 for 6 months but it is anticipated the road closure is only required between 16 to 30 May 2022. (STR000344 Kingsdown Lane, Stratton St Margaret) This Order is being introduced to allow for construction works and will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding on the byway known as Kingsdown Lane from the A361 to land at Catsbrain Farm. Alternative pedestrian routes are available. The Order will come into the force on the 1 May 2022 for 6 months. (STR000357 Widhill Lane, Blunsdon) This Order is being introduced to allow Thames Water to carry out works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Widhill Lane between the junctions of Blunsdon Hill and Ermin Street. Access via Ermin Street. The Order will come into force on the 27 April 2022 for 6 months but it is anticipated the road closure is only required between 27 to 29 April 2022.
