Corbeau Seats Motor Rally Tendring & Clacton 2022

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the various orders under section 14(1) and 16 A-C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the orders:

1. To introduce a temporary one way restriction on the following length of Mill Lane, Bradfield in the District of Tendring (commences on Sunday 24th April 2022 between the hours of 12.01am to 11.59pm):

Stages 3, Mill Lane, From its junction with The Street Westerly/South Westerly 7 and 11 Bradfield to its junction with Windmill Road.

2. To temporarily close the following roads/footpaths/cycle paths in the District of Tendring (Team HQ Stage will commence from midday 22/04/2022 to 11.59pm 24/04/2022, Stages 1 & 2 will commence on 23/04/2022 between the hours of 4pm to 9pm and the restrictions for Stages 3 to 14 are scheduled to commence on 24/04/2022 between the hours of 12.01am to 11.59pm):



Stages 6, The Tye Road, St Osyth/ 10 and Great Bentley

From its junction with Weeley Road to its junction with Wick Road.

From its junction with The Tye Road continuing as Straight Road to its junction with South Heath Road/Colles Brook Road. From its junction with Straight Road continuing as Dead Lane to its junction with B1027 Flag Hill/Holly Bush Hill.

To introduce a temporary Clearway (No Stopping at Any Time) on both sides of carriageway on all roads specified in points 1 and 2 above along with the following additional roads in the District of Tendring. Signs will be installed indicating when the Clearway will be in force (Team HQ Stage will commence from midday 22/04/2022 to 11.59pm 24/04/2022, Stages 1 & 2 will commence on 23/04/2022 between the hours of 4pm to 9pm and the restrictions for Stages 3 to 14 are scheduled to commence on 24/04/2022 between the hours of 12.01am to 11.59pm):

The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'Clearway' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

4. The restrictions for (Team HQ Stage will commence from midday 22/04/2022 to 11.59pm 24/04/2022, Stages 1 & 2 will commence on 23/04/2022 between the hours of 4pm to 9pm and the restrictions for Stages 3 to 14 are scheduled to commence on 24/04/2022 between the hours of 12.01am to 11.59pm): or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and is required to facilitate the Corbeau Seats Motor Rally Tendring & Clacton 2022 event.

The alternative route for Team HQ Stage will be via Coan Avenue, Kings Road, Freeland Road and Tower

Road and vice versa.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times during the closure. Pedestrian access to residential properties on or adjacent to the road will be permitted at safe intervals and will be escorted by marshalls on site.

The Orders will come into effect on 22/04/2022, 23/04/2022 and 24/04/2022 and will remain in place for the duration of the Corbeau Seats Motor Rally Tendring & Clacton 2022 event.

(Brantham Road/The Causeway, Lawford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brantham Road/The Causeway, Lawford in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 65m north of the junction with Dale Hall Roundabout for a distance of approximately 200m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th May 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (KL701LTN1-01-226-290522 -Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via The Causeway, Brantham Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 29th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
