Mill Lane, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

Under Section 14/1 Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 West Berkshire District Council (The Council) Intends To Make Orders As Following
(Mill Lane And Sulham Hill,
Tidmarsh And Sulham) (Temporary Prohibition Of Driving) Order 2022

The Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction over Mill Lane and Sulham Hill in the Parishes of Tidmarsh and Sulham between its junction with Long lane and its junction with The Street. The alternative route for all vehicles affected by the Order is via Chapel Hill, Lower Elmstone Dr, Dark La, Long La, Reading Rd, Tidmarsh Rd, The Street, and vice versa.
The purpose of this Order is to enable works to take place on or near the highway, namely for contractors to carry out overhead line maintenance. The proposed Order will come into effect on 25th April 2022. It is envisaged that the closure will be in place between 26th and 27th April 2022.

(BERE COURT ROAD, PANGBOURNE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2022

The Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction over Bere Court Road in Pangbourne between its junction with Green Lane and its junction with Pangbourne Hill.
The alternative route for all vehicles affected by the Order is via Pangbourne Hill, Tidmarsh Road (A340), Tidmarsh Lane, and vice versa. The purpose of this Order is to enable works to take place on or near the highway, namely for contractors to carry out repairs and maintenance to the service network. The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th May 2022. It is envisaged that the closure will be in place between 9th and 12th May 2022.
Unless stated otherwise the above orders shall remain in force for a period of eighteen months, or until the works are complete, whichever is the soonest, they will not take effect until approved traffic signs have been erected. Final details of the closure can be viewed on One.Network
