Public Notice Basingstoke And Deane Borough Council Town And Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (As Amended) Notice Of Making Of A Direction Without Immediate Effect Under Article 4(1)

NOTICE is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council ("the Council") has made a direction ("the Direction") under article 4(1) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) ("the Order"). The Direction applies to land at Basing View, Basingstoke described in Schedule 2 below and as shown on the plan attached to the Direction ("the Land"). The Direction withdraws permitted development rights in respect of development comprised within Class MA of Part 3 of Schedule 2 of the Order. The effect of the Direction is that development of the description set out in Schedule 1 below should not be carried out on the Land, unless planning permission is granted on an application made under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended). The Direction was made by the Council on 25 September 2021 and confirmed on 7 April 2022. The Direction is proposed to come into force on 26 September 2022.
