Somerset County Council Various Roads, Wellington in the Parishes of Stawley and Wellington Without (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2022
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary traffic restrictions as specified in the Schedules below. This Order will come into operation on the 5th day of May 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The Works are expected to commence on the 9th day of May 2022 for 5 days between 21:00 hours and 06:00 hours this is to enable BT Open reach to carry out gully sucking and cabling works. The restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs.

Schedule 2 Temporary 40mph Speed Limit Greenham Quarry Road, Wellington - From a point 344 metres northwest of the junction with Thome St Margaret Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 790 metres. Statement of reasons for making the Order
a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road; or
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
