Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Union Street (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Timbrell Street to its roundabout junction with The Halve to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via The Halve - A361 - B3105 - Canal Road -B3106 - Islington - Timbrell Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 May 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 for 4 days. Alternative route via Woolley Street (unaffected length) - B1035 - B3109 -Woolley Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 10 January 2022 will now recommence on 25 April 2022 and the closure will be required for 1 day. Orders A) to E) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Order F) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
