PROPOSED WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS - (TMO - KINGMAP0062)


The Kingston upon Thames (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. **) Order 202* and The Kingston upon Thames (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (AmendmentNo. **) Order 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the ABOVE Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the Orders, will be to introduce double yellow line 'at any time' waiting restrictions in:-

(a) Brockenhurst Avenue, Worcester Park outside Nos. 9a to 15;

(b) George Road, Kingston opposite Hampton Spring and Coombe Ridge Lodge;

(c) Highfield Road, Surbiton at its junction with Beresford Avenue including the roundabout;

(d) Warren Road, Kingston between (A308) Kingston Hill, Fairlawn and Paget Place and extend the existing adjacent to Coombe Neville; and

(e) Woodfield Gardens, New Malden adjacent to No. 57 Malden Way.

3. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and a plan showing the locations and the effects of the proposal may be inspected as follows:-

(a) online at https://www.kingston.gov.uk/tmos-open-statutory-consultation ;

(b) The Information and Advice Centre, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive;

(c) Council libraries; and

(d) copies of the proposed draft Orders and plans can also be obtained by calling 020 8547 5000 (between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays); or

(e) by emailing TMO@kingston.gov.uk and quoting ref KingMap 0062).

4. Persons desiring to object to any of the proposals or make any other representations in respect of them, should send a statement in writing to that effect and, in the case of an objection, stating the grounds thereofto the Council in this matter to either The Director ofCommunities, Traffic Order Section, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey KT1 1EU or email TMO@kingston.gov.uk, quoting reference TMO - KingMap0062 by 12th May 2022.
