(Crathorne Interchange To Parkway Interchange) (Temporary Restriction And Prohibition Of Traffic)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the A19 Trunk Road, in the Districts of Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesbrough, to enable carriageway resurfacing, bridge inspections and general maintenance works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to start on Sunday 15 May 2022 for 6 weeks, or until completed.
The effect of the Order will be to impose, for 24 hours a day, at times during the works a temporary 50 mph speed restriction on the A19:
(i) northbound carriageway from the exit slip road at the A67 Crathorne Interchange to 920 metres south of Redhill overbridge, a distance of 3020 metres; and
(ii) southbound carriageway from 200 metres south of Redhill overbridge to the entry slip road at Crathorne Interchange, a distance of 3330 metres.
It will be necessary, between 8pm and 6am, at times during the works, to close the A19:
(iii) northbound carriageway from the exit slip road at Crathorne Interchange to the entry slip road at the A174 Parkway Interchange, a distance of 7800 metres;
(iv) southbound carriageway from the exit slip road at Parkway Interchange to the entry slip road at Crathorne Interchange, a distance of 7600 metres;
(v) northbound entry and southbound exit slip roads at Crathorne Interchange; and
(vi) northbound exit and southbound entry slip roads at Parkway Interchange.
During the closures suitable signed alternative routes will be available. It will also be necessary, for 24 hours a day, for the duration of the works, to close the laybys adjacent to the carriageway mentioned in (iii) and (iv). Traffic management will be in force 24 hours a day and traffic signs will indicate the extent of the restrictions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or special forces vehicles) and prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 14 May 2022 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
THE A66 TRUNK ROAD (BOWES INTERCHANGE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends
to make an Order on the A66 Trunk Road, in County Durham, to enable
drainage & cyclic works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start on Wednesday 18 May 2022 for 1 night,
or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am.
The effect of the Order will be to close, the A66 eastbound exit slip road
at Bowes Interchange; during which times a suitably signed alternative
route will be available.
Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibition (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 17 May 2022 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The A66 Trunk Road (Clint Bridge)
(Temporary Restriction And Prohibition Of Traffic)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends
to make an Order on the A66 Trunk Road, in County Durham, to enable
horticulture works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start on 19 May 2022 for 1 night or until
completed and will take place between 8pm and 6am.
The effect of the Order will be, at times during the works, to:
(i) impose a temporary 40mph speed restriction on the A66 eastbound carriageway from 1750 metres east of Clint Bridge overbridge to 675 metres east of Clint Bridge overbridge, a distance of 1075 metres;
(ii) impose a temporary 10mph speed restriction on the A66 eastbound carriageway from 675 metres east of Clint Bridge overbridge to
300 metres west of Clint Bridge overbridge, a distance of 975 metres;
(iii) close the A66 eastbound carriageway from 460 metres east of Clint Bridge overbridge to 1750 metres east of Clint Bridge overbridge, a distance of 1290 metres; and
(iv) close the A66 westbound entry slip road at Bowes.
During the closures suitably signed alternative routes will be available. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the restrictions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or special forces vehicles) and prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works, to anyone engaged in the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 18 May 2022 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
