The County Council of Durham (North Road, Durham) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 10 metres of North Road that extends south eastwards from its junction with Neville Street, Durham to enable sewer repair works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the north side of the closure via the A690 and Millburngate, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 12/5/22 from 11pm to 6am and are anticipated to be completed in 1 night On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
